Thank you for supporting the Peabody Historical Society & Museum over the years. We strive to preserve and celebrate Peabody’s history through exhibits, research, advocacy and preservation projects. Despite still being in the COVID epidemic, we at the Society have accomplished much this past year, including the following:

54 weddings were held at the Woodland Garden and the Smith Barn, despite a record number of cancellations. Rentals of the Smith Barn are our main source of financial support.
Opened of our newest exhibit “250 Years of Service: Peabody’s Veterans.”
Sent our “Postcards of Peabody’s Past”, delving into topics ranging from Proctor’s Tavern to Mr. Peanut on Route 1.
Fulfilled 67 research requests and accepted 23 separate donations, which included 293 items related to Peabody’s history.
Held virtual lectures with help from the Bridge Street Local History Fund.

The Society owns 8 important historic sites, and their maintenance can be a constant challenge. During the winter months when the Barn is not rented, our financial need becomes great. Therefore, we ask for your support by sending a tax-deductible contribution to our Annual Fund. You can donate via PayPal at this website or mail a check to the Peabody Historical Society and Museum, 35 Washington Street, Peabody, MA 01960.
We realize that all of us are restricted as to what organizations we can support. We appreciate your contribution, in any amount, even more.

Thank you for your support,
Executive Board of Directors
